 Gudebrod Butt Wind: This fairly flexible, braided plastic material was used to decorate handles. The black and white version, with its original pattern, was the most popular. Today, this material is very difficult to find, as it is no longer manufactured.


 The body of a Tiger Ghost salmon fly is traditionally made from a now-discontinued material, Gudebrod Butt Wind (or Butt Wrap), a braided material originally used in the manufacture of fishing rods.
